DESCRIPTION:

The End of Year Tour, also known as the Autumn Internationals in the Northern Hemisphere, is a series of international rugby union matches between Southern Hemisphere countries, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa – and the European countries

7 November 2020 Italy vs South Africa, TBA

In 2017 Rugby Championship winners, New Zealand traveled to France, Scotland and Wales, whilst the losers of the Championship, Argentina, faced England, Ireland and Italy – with the latter two countries also hosting South Africa. The Springboks also faced their June test series opposition, France, whom they had beaten 3–0, before ending their tour in Wales. Having beaten the All Blacks in the third Bledisloe Cup Test match in October, Australia traveled to play Wales, England and Scotland, the latter of whom had beaten the Wallabies in Sydney during the June internationals.

14 November 2020 Ireland vs Springboks, Dublin

The Springboks have three dates penciled into their November 2020 schedule with Italy, France and Ireland lined up as opponents. The Boks look likely to open their tour with a meeting against Italy, whom they conquered in the group stage of the 2019 Rugby World Cup. At this stage it seems likely that the Springboks will face Italy on 7 November at a venue still to be determined.

21 November 2020 France vs Springboks, Paris

There is a possibility that the Springboks might add another date to their tour after their 21 November meeting with France in Paris. Les Bleus will get a taste of what might have been had they held on to see off Wales in an unexpectedly tight RWC quarterfinal, and it is the Welsh who might become South Africa’s fourth opponent.
