As with practically every other sport in 2020 the HSBC World Sevens Series unfortunately ended a lot sooner that it should have. After winning the Canadian leg of the series in March 2020 New Zealand were eventually declared winners beating the old enemy South Africa into second place on the table. It was an unfortunate end to what looked like was going to be another competitive season in a format of rugby that some people took a while to accept but just like T20 Cricket it has gone from strength to strength and brought in colourful crowds the world over as the games are a lot more competitive.

From the flying Fijians to the USA Eagles to the Shujaa of Kenya, the 15 core teams that make up this tournament give it a true international flavour. 10 legs are played on 5 continents with the champions usually only decided on the final leg of the series which has been played in Paris for the past few seasons. 2022 is going to be a bit different and the final leg will be played in Toulouse which is the rugby heartland in the South of France at the end of May 2022.

The leg prior to Toulouse will be played in London and traditionally pulls large crowds of fans in, many wear fancy dress and the excitement is none stop with games coming in thick and fast. Fans from all sorts of different background attend and it is impossible not to enjoy yourself.

We will be doing packages for both London and Toulouse in 2022. For the London package 2 nights accommodation will be included with your ticket which will be with fellow Blitzbokke supporters. For the Toulouse leg, return flights from London, return transfers from the airport to the hotel, 3 nights in a central Toulouse hotel as well as group seating in the stadium will be included.

Sevens rugby is none stop action the whole way through the weekend and considering these are the final 2 legs of the series there will be a lot to play for in a tournament that has so much to enjoy about it.
