While South Africa has enjoyed a dominant run against Wales, winning 6 of their last 7 encounters over the past five years, a fired-up Welsh side playing at home in Cardiff is a challenge not to be underestimated. The roar of the Principality Stadium crowd is legendary and can certainly ignite the home team.
Join the Braai Army in Cardiff for an unforgettable rugby weekend! We'll be gathering from Friday evening, November 28, with events continuing throughout Saturday, before and after the game. Connect with fellow Springbok supporters and soak up the incredible atmosphere. Food and drinks will be readily available for purchase. Secure your spot at the 4-star Clayton Hotel, perfectly situated in the city center, for a two-night bed and breakfast stay.
We are sold out of accommodation in the Braai Army barracks as well as the Braai Army Springbok Supporters Block, if you would like to book for yourself, the troops will be staying in the Clayton Hotel and we will be sitting in block M34. You can then book your spot for the gees weekend by getting a Commando Ticket online.
Friday Afternoon until late:
We will be at the Walkabout in Cardiff, we have a special guest planned for a Q&A at the Walkabout. Drink specials for the Braai Army troops. We will be handing out the Braai Army weekend wristbands from 17:00 till 18:00, the wristbands will get you Braai Army exclusive drink specials at the Walkabout for the evening until 23:00. Please make sure to show your wristband to the bar staff when ordering, they will not give you the special without seeing the wristbands.
Braai Army Supporters Merch will be available from 17:00 till 19:00, come get your official supporters merch while stocks last.
Saturday 21 November
Pre Match: 11:00 Kick Off at the Cardiff Blues
Wristbands will be handed out from 11:00 till 13:00
This is where will building the gees before the match. Braai Club will have the boeries going, and great rugby club beer prices to get us warmed up before the game. At 14:00 we will all take the short walk to the stadium.
