10:00am Sat 19 August ǀ Putney Pier
When Summer is in London, it is time for the best jol, the South Africans Boat Party on the Thames River. Join a bunch of fun loving South Africans for a 3 hour party cruise on the Thames followed by a gathering at a local pub to watch the Springboks vs Wales opening test.
Space on the boat will be limited, once we have reached capacity you will not be able to join the boat party, and will only be able to join the watch party. Please don't leave booking your tickets till the last minute, in the past we have had people begging to get on the cruise, but as mentioned before, the boat has a maximum capacity.
Drinks will be available for purchase on the boat, and then FREE ENTRY and GREAT DRINK SPECIALS at the bar while we are all supporting the Springboks as they take on Wales.
Itinerary for the day:
We will all be meeting at Putney Pier at 10:00am on Saturday morning. Please bring proof of purchase to the pier where Casey and Nicky will be handing out the wristbands.
Please note they the boat doesn't allow us to bring food and booze on-board.
The boat sets sail at 10:30am and we cruise and party for 3 hours.
After we dock back at the Putney Pier, we all go by bus to the Horse and Groom to watch the rugby.
The Horse and Groom Wales v Springboks watch party will be a private party, if you have friends who would like to join (limited space available) please ask them to get a ticket online before Friday noon: https://www.braaiarmy.com/product-page/wales-vs-springboks-london-watch-party
The Horse and Groom stay open till 03:00am (last drinks served at 02:00).
